A delegation led by chairman of the Azerbaijan State Securities Committee Rufat Aslanli participated at the 35th plenary meeting of the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism – MONEYVAL held in Strasbourg, France.

For the first time deputy director of Financial Monitoring Service under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Anar Salmanov was elected as a member of Moneyval mission on Latvia's assessment.

Azeri delegation held bilateral meetings and exchanged views on boosting cooperation on anti-money laundering measures and the financing of terrorism.

The plenary meeting featured examination of the 4th round evaluation report on the Czech Republic and on Albania; of the progress reports of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia and Moldova; action taken by three countries currently under Compliance Enhancing Procedures to address the issues of concerns raised by MONEYVAL and typologies work.
