Director of the Louvre Museum Henri Loyrette will be visiting Azerbaijan on May 3-5.
Bilateral cooperation prospects, preservation of museum resources, exchange of experiences, as well as, issues on organizing exhibitions in Azerbaijan State Museum of Art dedicated to the collections of Louvre Museum will be discussed during the meetings which will be held as a part of the visit.
Loyrette is also expected to meet with culture minister of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev, to visit the new building of the State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpets and Folk Applied Arts, as well as, participate in the opening ceremony of the "Art Treasury" exhibition and Gala Archeological Ethnography Museum Complex.
