The first vice-president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Arif Hashimov met with editor-in-chief of Moscow's scientific journal "Telekommunikasii"
("Telecommunications"), head of the Computing Technique department at SouthWest State University, professor Vitaly Titov and the member of editorial board of the journal, professor Tamara Shirabakina.
Director of Institute of Information Technology, associate member of ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev and employees of the institute - Ramiz Shikhaliyev and Vugar Musayev also attended the meeting.
Academician Arif Hashimov informed the visitors on the achievements of the Academy. He said that attendance by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev the annual meeting is evidence to the care of state and government to the development of science in the country.
Professor Vitaly Titov provided information on "Telekommunikasii" journal.
Rasim Aliguliyev stressed importance of the cooperation agreement between the Institute of Information Technology and SouthWest State University.
