Azerbaijan`s national freestyle and woman wrestling teams have brought home 8 medals from the 39th “Yashar Dogu” international tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.
Azeri freestyle wrestlers Zalimkhan Huseynov (66 kg) and Khetag Gazyumov (96 kg) climbed the highest step of the podium while bronze medals came from Togrul Asgarov (60 kg) and Novruz Temrezov (84 kg).
Azeri woman wrestlers Maria Stadnikh (48 kg) and Nadejda Sementsova (67 kg) grabbed gold medals of the tournament. Olesia Zamula (63 kg) snatched silver, while Yulia Ratkhevich (55 kg) bronze medals.
