NATO experts group to visit Baku

The NATO experts group will visit Baku in the middle of February, Robert Simons, NATO Secretary General special representative on the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia, told the journalists, Trend reports.
The purpose of the visit is to learn the realization of the Plan of the Individual Partnership with Azerbaijan, the technical support of the alliance for the military reforms in Azerbaijan and resolution of the defense planning and budget financing of the army.

The Plan will be considered in the meeting of NATO United Command and will be confirmed by the alliance leadership.

Romualdas Razuks was appointed the officer-coordinator on the Southern Caucasus. Razuks will coordinate the relations of the alliance with all the Southern Caucasus countries. He will work 3 months in each country. Afterwards, the alliance leadership will open the NATO office in Caucasus.
