The stage of registration of candidates for participating in the parliamentary elections ended the day before yesterday.
The propaganda-agitation campaign of candidates to the deputy is starting from today.

According to the directions adopted by the Central Election Commission in connection with the parliamentary elections, the propaganda-agitation campaign will last 60 days.

The campaign to start in the morning tomorrow will be stopped 24 hours left to the day of voting – at 8:00 am on November 5. It should be noted that the propaganda-agitation campaign will be balanced with 4 clauses of the Election Code – 74.1.2, 74.1.4, 75.2, 75.3 clauses.

According to these clauses, all candidates to participate in the elections must be created equal conditions. The list of registered candidates must be printed on the constituencies 55 days left to the day of voting at least. It should also be noted that according to the respective directions of CEC, allocating respective places for conducting pre-election agitation is commissioned to the local executive organ and municipality structures with the offer of the constituency election commission.

The CEC secretary Natig Mammadov informed in his explanation to APA that not all measures in connection with conducting of the propaganda campaign were solved. “This question was solved in some constituencies, places for conducting of the propaganda campaign and sticking placards were determined. This is one of the questions being under the control of CEC. Creating normal condition in all constituencies will be solved in these days”.

N.Mammadov expressing his attitude to the question of allocation of free broadcast in televisions and using of propaganda possibility of the private TV channels noted that this depends on the agreement between separate candidates and mass media means and election commission have no role in this question.

As to the question whether special places will be allocated in Baku city for the election blocs to hold rallies or not, N.Mammadov said that there is no need for it. The situation concerning the propaganda campaign will be in the same level in all constituencies.
