As APA reports, the autopsy was performed by Dutch forensic pathologists. The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague says in its press release that two pathologists from Belgrade also attended the 8-hour procedure.
According to the pathologists, Slobodan Milosevich died of "myocardial infarction".
Further, the pathologists identified two heart conditions that Slobodan Milosevich suffered from, which they said would explain the myocardial infarct.
Toxicological examination will still be carried out. Dutch TV channels reported quoting the sources in the international tribunal that drugs had been found in the body of Milosevic who suffered from arterial pressure and heart disease. The reason why the drug have not been absorbed is being investigated.
