President of Nepal to visit Azerbaijan

Nepal's President Ram Chandra Paudel plans to visit Azerbaijan to attend the COP29 conference, which will be held in Baku from November 11 to 22, Azernews reports, citing Nepal's Minister of Forestry and Environment, Aina Bahadur Shahi Thakuri.

"Nepal will be represented at the highest level at COP29, with President Paudel leading our delegation," he said.

According to the minister, the government has decided to ensure high-level participation to emphasize the importance of this event.

It is also noted that the conference will be significant for decision-making and implementation by the government to achieve climate goals.
