OIC holds preparatory meeting before Baku Summit

OIC Secretary General, Professor Uglo, reviewed in a speech before the attendance, the main initiatives adopted by the Secretariat General to implement the third extraordinary summit's recommendations, aiming at changing the Islamic nation's reality and restructuring the Organization. In the course of his speech which touched on all economic, political, social and cultural situation across OIC member-states, Professor Oglu pointed in particular to the situation in a number of specific countries. He mentioned the situation in Palestine, Kashmir, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan in addition to the social conditions in African countries, terrorism, human rights and other issues.
