Over 100 Armenians detained for illegally passing the border in Georgia

Georgian law enforcement bodies arrested over 100 Armenians, who illegally passed the border with Russia.

According to Georgian legislation those illegally passing Georgia-Russia border are fined of $2000. Those who repeat the case are sentenced for three to five years. It concerns Abkhazia and Southern Ossetia too. Even one-day stay in these territories is outlaw, and Armenians are being detained in Georgian prisons for having taken this step, APA reports quoting to Armenian press.
