President Aliyev's statement does not clarify ANS situation

On Nov.29 nobody explained to society which requirements the channel must fulfill. All attempts to get comments from Nushiravan Magerramli, head of the National Television and Radio Council, have brought no results. Usually available for comments at this time, Magerramli did not answer phone calls. Ali Hasanov also did not give any explanations. ANS' administration has made it clear that it does not understand the authorities' demands.

Unofficial sources claim that the main condition of the authorities is that the channel's owners be changed. Turan
