Safar Abiyev receives Bahraini Defence Minister

Safar Abiyev gave information about socio-political situation and economic development in Azerbaijan, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and the construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline.

"Azerbaijan prefers to live in peace with neighbouring countries and tries for the peaceful solution to Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. But Armenia’s destructive position prevents the settlement of the conflict. If the talks have no results, we will release our lands in military way," Safar Abiyev said, Defence Ministry Press Service told the APA.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa touched upon the military cooperation between the two countries and said that his country intends to sign a treaty in this field.

"We believe that Azerbaijan will restore its territorial integrity. Kingdom of Bahrain supports Azerbaijan in this issue," he said.
