Center of Cooperation of Opposition appeals to Baku mayor's office with a request to sanction a meeting

On October 14 the Center of Cooperation of Opposition appealed to the Mayor's office with a request to sanction a protest, planned to be held on October 18, said head of the central office of the Musavat party Arif Hajili.
He noted that in the letter the party calls on the Baku mayor's office to sanction a meeting, planned to be held from 15:00 until 18:00.

"By our calculations, the meeting of the Center of Cooperation of Opposition is likely to involve over 10,000 people", said Hajili.

As for the actions to be taken by the party in case the meeting is not sanctioned, Hajili said the following;

"The issue has not been discussed yet. But, depending on circumstances, the parties will take due actions", announced he.

It should be reminded that the Center of Cooperation of Opposition includes the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Liberal Party of Azerbaijan, Musavat party, Party of Civil Development and public forum "For Azerbaijan", which decided to boycott the presidential elections.
