Press conference dedicated to the results of the international meeting “1st Baku meeting for Eurasian Businessmen’s Union” was held in “Excelsior” hotel yesterday.
Baku deceleration was signed in the conference.
Opening the conference, head of the management staff of the Azerbaijani Turkish Businessmen’s Union (ATBU) Ahmet Erentok stated that the initiative of establishing Eurasian Businessmen’s Union (EBU) was approved in the meting of the Eurasian businessmen: “This Union will bring together businessmen of 13 Eurasian countries and NGOs. Our goal is to make the whole region as well as Azerbaijan powerful. The economy, non-oil sector of Azerbaijan will develop; its neighboring relations will extend by its participation in this organization. ATBU will be the founder and one of the members of this organization. It will implement projects costing millions dollars”.
Chairman of Turkish Foreign Relations Committee and Turk-Eurasia Business Councils Togrul Erkin, deputy councilor of Foreign Trade of Turkey Ulker Guzel addressing to the conference, wished success to EBU in its activity and expressed their confidence that the EBU will be one of the powerful organizations among other regional organizations of the union.
Baku declaration was signed between chairman of Turkish Foreign Relations Committee and Turk-Eurasia Business Councils Togrul Erkin, deputy councilor of Foreign Trade of Turkey Ulker Guzel and head of MS of ATBU Ahmet Erentok. The document contains issues on strengthening of the Eurasian countries economically, expanding trade, economical, social and cultural relations between these countries and cooperating with the businessmen of the region for this purpose.
It must be noted that, Working Group has been formed for the establishing of the Union. A.Erentok, T.Erkin and others are represented in the working group. The working group will draw up the regulations and budget of the Union.
