Departure of first transport with BTC oil from Ceyhan may be delayed until summer of 2006

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali noted that there is a chance that oil transportation through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan will be delayed until summer of 2006.

According to Morali, the delay is possible in the process of loading tankers with oil in Ceyhan port. However, the ambassador did not disclose specific reasons for the delay and only reassured journalists that Ceyhan port is completely ready for receiving oil.
