The one-year project, which envisions stepping up the role of entrepreneurs and public unions in fighting corruption, will be implemented with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development, the Confederation told AssA-Irada.
The key goal of the project is to ensure favorable conditions for the activity of businesspeople, prevent their being subject to corruption and conduct enlightenment work. It also envisages holding seminars for entrepreneurs in Baku, as well as Ganja, the country’s second largest city, the smaller towns of Ali-Bayramli and Mingachevir, and establishing an anti-corruption center and a hotline within the CAE.
