Azerbaijan begins exporting medicines to Uzbekistan

As APA reports according to the Innovation and Supply Centre of the Ministry of Health, Uzbekistan will be the third country Azerbaijan exports medicines to.

Azerbaijan exports 23 varieties of medicines to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan at present. All exported medicines are produced by the Azerfarm Limited Liability Company and so, Azerfarm is the only medicines producer which exports its production in Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that there are two enterprises producing medicines in Azerbaijan. One of them, Azersintez Azerbaijan-Turkey Joint Venture, has not exported its produce yet. The Ministry intends to establish cooperation with other countries in this field as well.
