Next meeting of state commission on Azerbaijan’s admission to WTO to be held on February 3

Issues on preparation to the next, IV phase of the negotiations between the Organization and Azerbaijan under the process of admission of the republic to WTO will be discussed in the meeting, APA informs.

The members of the commission will investigate the questions presented to the Azerbaijani party in the last meeting held in Geneva and prepare answers to those questions. In case of concluding an undivided opinion on all issues Azerbaijan must send all answers to the headquarters of WTO (Geneva). The next phase of the negotiations concerning admission to WTO will be held in Geneva in March this year.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has been granted the status of observer in WTO since 1997.
