SOCAR president met with personnel of Geology and Geophysics Office

As APA was told by the press-service of SOCAR, the chief of the Office Taleh Hasanov, head of the Yasamal district Executive Power Azer Aliyev attended the meeting.

Mr.Abdullayev noted the importance of participation of Azerbaijani geophysicists in international tenders and said that geophysicists should not content themselves with only implementing orders from the Azneft Production Union and foreign oil companies operating in Azerbaijan, they should also take an active part in oil projects realized in countries such as Iran, Pakistan and India.

According to the SOCAR president, for this purpose the Geology and Geophysics Office must be developed into a modern organization meeting world's standards.
