Training seminar Azeri and Georgian Sea port employees to be held

Training seminar for 20 Azeri and Georgian Sea ports employees will be organized at the Baku Regional Educational Center of World Customs Organization March 15-17.

EU will conduct the seminar within the frames of the drug control project in the border regions, UN Development Program's (UNDP) project of "Drugs Control in South Caucasus" (SCAD-IV), Trend reports.

Strengthening of search operations aimed at preventing drugs smuggling in Caspian and Black sea ports is the major goal of seminar.

Noticeably, SCAD-IV program came in force on the base of agreement signed by EU, UNDP and Azerbaijan government on March 29 2001.
