Azerbaijani Advertising Union: "The level of advertisement on TV, newspapers is very low"

According to APA, advertisement problems of the world are discussed at the conference held once in every two years. The congress was chaired by PM of United Arabian Emirates Sheykh Muhammad bin Rashid.

Advertisement market of Azerbaijan was discussed at a conference together with other states. It was stated that Azerbaijan lacks in this field therefore advertisement companies refuse to work in Azerbaijan: "We can not enter world advertisement ideology for years. We have no time to deal with it as we are busy with political works. The level of advertisement on TV, newspapers is very low. In the advertisements of Aygun Kazimova, Nazpari Dostaliyeva the singers are displayed themselves not the products."

Mr.Atakishiyev has stated that International Advertising Union refuses the reason for not working with us because of corruption in our country: "Azerbaijani journalists need to transfer from political market into economic market. If this happens majority of the problems that happen today will be solved."

Mr. Atakishiyev stated that work on draft law on Advertisement was carried out. According to him, regulations will be established in advertisement market. International Advertising Association's next 41st congress will be held in Washington in 2008.
