Rovnag Abdullayev receives European Commission Deputy Head of External Affairs

As APA reports, the visitors said the European Union's interested in improving relations with Azerbaijan. They stressed the importance of SOCAR integration into European markets in oil and gas sector.

Noting that the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline's being completed, the SOCAR president said this pipeline would play important role in increasing amount of oil exported to European countries.

Abdullayev also said that oil refineries in Azerbaijan were being improved technologically by the support of the European Commission.

The sides also discussed cooperation with Azerbaijan regarding solution of gas problem in European countries.
