First Black Sea and Caspian Telecommunication Conference

Telecommunication Agency will host the "First Black Sea and Caspian Telecommunication Conference" in Istanbul between May 25th and May 27th, 2006.

The conference will be attended by representatives from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Participants at the conference will discuss telecommunication arrangements in the region.

Telecommunication Agency Chairman Tayfun Acarer and Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Iltimas Mammadov will deliver the opening remarks at the Istanbul conference.
