Elman Rustamov meets NBG President

Roman Gotsiridze was visiting Baku within the frameworks of the annual session of the executive Board of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Prime-News reports.

Elman Rustamov accompanied his Georgian colleague as he was touring the new building of the National Bank of Azerbaijan.

The subject of discussion at the meeting was cooperation in monetary policy and banking supervision. Presently the parties are working out the issue on preparation of an agreement for share of information with regard to banking supervision. The agreement is to be signed during a visit by Elman Rustamov to Tbilisi by the end of September.

Elman Rustamov welcomed the minting of the coin on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline by the National Bank of Georgia and expressed a desire to have the coin distributed in Azerbaijan too.
