Loud Claims, Zero Evidence - Ocampo as Armenianism's Court Lackey

Former International Criminal Court prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo has gone too far. A few days ago, this guy announced a meeting in Yerevan, where he promises his employers from the Armenian lobby to complain fervently about Azerbaijan. Now the corrupt lawyer has decided to write a second open letter, although the effectiveness of the first was absolutely zero.

In his new letter, Ocampo continues to make unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan, hoping to cause an international outcry. However, his attempts are again proving to be a failure, as he cannot back up his statements with convincing evidence. The corrupt lawyer has long since lost his reputation as an impartial human rights defender, and his activities increasingly resemble contract actions to please certain political circles. Apparently, Ocampo’s latest failure will only strengthen the opinion that his work is more political than legal in nature, and is aimed at serving the interests of the Armenian lobby rather than achieving justice.

In the face of these failed attempts, Ocampo continues to actively exploit the themes of humanitarian crisis and human rights, which tend to resonate in some international circles. However, his assertiveness and tendency to manipulate facts only undermine his credibility. Today, hardly anyone would argue that Ocampo has become a tool for achieving narrow political goals. The Armenian lobby, in turn, continues to put pressure on Ocampo, pushing him to new provocations against Azerbaijan, despite the obvious lack of concrete grounds for accusations.

International observers have already drawn attention to the biased nature of Ocampo's statements. His position, initially perceived as neutral and designed to protect the rights of the oppressed, now increasingly looks like part of a strategic game aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region. In these circumstances, it is obvious that loud statements without evidence cannot change the factual picture, but on the contrary, only push Armenia to unleash new military provocations against Azerbaijan.

At the same time, such actions by Ocampo and his supporters could play into the hands of those who seek to maintain tensions in the region. Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated its commitment to peace with Armenia and its desire for long-term security, while such provocative statements by Ocampo only exacerbate existing differences. The Armenian lobby and its affiliates continue to use international legal mechanisms to pressure Azerbaijan, but such efforts are becoming increasingly less convincing given the apparent lack of legal validity of the accusations.

It is also worth noting that the very fact that Ocampo repeatedly appeals to international organizations testifies to his inability to achieve real results in the legal sphere. The use of loud statements and accusations without proper argumentation only confirms the crisis of trust in international institutions, when former high-ranking figures resort to manipulation to please their clients. This undermines the very idea of ??the rule of law and justice, for which, as they say, all these loud campaigns are being conducted.

Against this backdrop, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its position in the international arena, building a dialogue with key international players and demonstrating readiness for constructive interaction. Despite the attempts of the Armenian lobby to destabilize the situation with the help of Ocampo, official Baku acts within the framework of international law, which only strengthens its position in the eyes of the world community. Meanwhile, the position of Ocampo and his sponsors is becoming increasingly isolated, and their attempts to attract attention are proving ineffective.

Thus, Ocampo's second letter, like the first, will turn out to be just another episode in a long series of provocations that have no real legal force. The activities of the corrupt lawyer continue to demonstrate dependence on the political interests of the Armenian lobby, which ultimately plays against him. Azerbaijan, in turn, remains confident in its rightness and continues to follow its chosen course in the international arena.
