Metsola advocates for European Defense Union to complement NATO

Metsola emphasized that this defense and security union would complement NATO, stating, "The European Union must always be stronger. We must first provide what we expect from others and take consistent, effective steps."

She also highlighted that EU countries should rely on their own strength and prepare for any potential threats.
