In its 2009 report the Armenian Ministry of Economy indicated programs providing for tendencies to economic growth.
The program includes launching an investment program of the Zvartnots free economic zone, completing the design work at the agricultural produce export infrastructure, establishing a jewelry trade center; launching the construction of a French center of nuclear medicine; establishing water production facilities in the Kotayk region by a Swiss investor, and launching the construction of a top hotel in Kilikia, Yerevan.
The program also calls for opening a jewelry factory of the Indian Firestone company, ensuring diamond-cutting and jewelry production.
