In 2009, Armenia received nearly 8.611 tonnes of goods in humanitarian assistance, with a value of 18 billion 861.2 million AMD or $51 million USD.
According to data released by the Armenian National Statistical Service, 34.7 percent of the goods received have been in the chemistry and, connected with that, industry sectors; 17.3 percent in equipment; 15.7 percent in textiles; and 4.6 percent in machinery and so on, with the remaining 27.7 percent account for other products.
