The Council of Ministers on Monday convened under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said following the meeting while responding to a question about the government's plans to change the National Security Policy Document, "those documents are reviewed once in every five years. The latest review was made in 2005. Many changes have occurred in the country, the region and in the world since then. Now, we will review the document under the light of those changes."
Cicek added that State Minister & chief negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis informed the Council of Ministers on Turkey's EU membership process during the meeting.
