Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday, institutions like the IMF, World Bank and OECD, have all affirmed that Turkey would be among countries of the world that will grow the fastest in 2010 and 2011.
Speaking at an inauguration ceremony of a private hospital in Istanbul, Erdogan indicated that international credit rating agencies have raised Turkey's credit rating and that, despite the global financial crisis, Turkey stood firm and was not much affected by the crisis.
Today, Turkey receives appreciation and respect as a brave defender of justice, peace and humanitarian values not merely in the Middle East and Africa but in all corners of the globe, Erdogan also said.
