Music and folklore art week to be held within Eurovision 2012

The Baku City Culture and Tourism Department will organize concerts by Azerbaijani musicians and handicraft exhibitions under the motto “Music and folklore art week” on May 21-27 here as part of the Eurovision 2012.

The aim of the event is to educate foreign guests and tourists on Azerbaijani history, cultural heritage and other spheres. The exhibitions, which will start at 11:00 and last till 21:00, will demonstrate examples of carpet weaving and different branches of folklore art.

Besides the exhibitions, every day concerts for Baku residents and foreign guests will be held at 18:00.
