Information booths have been established with the help of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, Baku Tourism Information Center, as well as the Ministry of Transport, Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy and Azerbaijan Airlines airline to render services to tourists during the Eurovision song contest.
Information booths have been installed at the railway station, Baku International Sea Port, Baku International Bus Terminal and Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend today.
The purpose of the booths is to inform guests arriving in Azerbaijan about the country. A number of promotional and informational materials will be distributed to the visitors.
These materials contain a map of Baku, the schemes of pedestrian routes in Baku, booklets "What & Where" on the cultural events in Baku, informational books about hotels and restaurants, sightseeing.
Students of Azerbaijan Tourism Institute, knowing foreign languages, will work in the information booths. They have been trained in the Baku Tourism Information Centre.
