Zagatala pensioners protest against half-month delay in pension payments

The pensioners told Sheki-Zagatala bureau of APA that they cannot get their pensions on time even though everybody else gets pension by means of an ATM on the 19th day of every month.

The protesters stated that they applied to the regional department of the State Social Protection Fund but their problem have not been solved. General accountant of the department of the State Social Protection Fund in Zagatala Seadet Osmanova confirmed the fact in her statement to the provincial bureau of APA and explained the delay of pension supply due to the lack of money.

Osmanova stated that the delay was caused by a bigger number of pensioners in Zagatala district than in any other. She also noted that, all calculations are over and a necessary sum has been transferred to the banks and the money will be available by tomorrow [today].
