Armenian champion refuses to play with Neftchi FC

Sabuhi Safiyarli, press secretary of Neftchi football club said in his interview with ANS that Armenian champion Pyunik refused to play Neftchi in the semifinal match of the Commonwealth Cup.

Defeating Ukrainian Shakhtar FC in the QF, Armenian champion addressed to the Organizing Committee with intention to withdraw from the cup. If "Pyunik" leaves the Cup, the Organizing Committee may consider to put prohibition on club participation in the future tournaments in future. According to the secretary, the final decision on the issue will be made on January 19.
