Ganja hosted two-day seminar under the Cities Alliance Project.

As AzerTAg reports, seminar sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development, Asian Development Bank and UNDP focused on the launch of the project aimed at enhancing the strategic planning, governance, and resource mobilization capabilities of Azerbaijan cities Ganja, Mingachevir and Sheki to contribute to economic growth and urban poverty reduction.

The discussions in the seminar revolved around the Ganja's economic development strategy, infrastructure, financial resources, ecological, social needs as well as refugees' problems and many other issues.

In conclusion, ADB Country Director for Azerbaijan Matthew Westfall, Head of Cities Alliance Project team Michael Gorelick and Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development representative Rashad Bakhshaliyev answered to the participants' questions.
