Head of "Borchalibank" sentenced to 9 year in jail

The verdict was read to head of Control Council of "Borchalibank" Commercial Bank Novruz Ismayilov and Deputy Chief of Managing Staff Mazahir Ahmadov in the trial chaired by Judge Sadraddin Hajiyev in the Court on Grave Crimes.

As APA reports citing Fuad Agayev, lawyer of N.Ismayilov, his client was sentenced to 9 year in jail and M.Ahmadov to 7 year and 6 months by the decision of court.

F.Agayev says he will file an appeal against the verdict: "Novruz Ismayilov and Mazahir Ahmadov were sentenced on the basis of false testimonies".
