He made this statement during the second meeting held in Baku under the Kalkan project of Interpol, Trend informs.
Speaking on the significance of Kalkan project he informed the participants in the event that the project will open opportunities for exchange of information with the majority of member-participants of headquarters of Interpol. "Unless the assistance of member-countries of Interpol, the implementation of Kalkan project would be impossible," Eyvazov underscored.
In his remarks Eyvazov noted that the project played a considerable role in defining and arrest of criminals, which committed crimes in Azerbaijan, but hide out of its borders.
"The project, which was launched in 2004, was of great interest to Azerbaijan and we hope the current event will give tremendous support in continuing closer cooperation under the project," Eyvazov stressed.
