Around 100 Muslims hold a protest action in front of Foreign Ministry building

Muslimss gathered at the Fizuli square at 11.00am and chanted slogan "Leave Prophet Muhammad alone", Trend reports. The participants of the action expressed protest against the offensive campaign aimed against Prophet Muhammad and Islam in some western countries over last days.

According to Chingiz Mammadov, the chief of the Yasamal district Police Department, the number of the participants was 100. No incidents were registered during the action and Muslims were broken up peacefully.

"Muslims gathered on the square expressed their protest. We observe their acts in the peaceful atmosphere. No confrontation aroused and stability was restored in shortest time," Mammadov stressed.
