Bird Flu found in Gilezi Poultry Farm

The Bird Flu State Commission told that the virus was found in the samples taken from Gilezi Poultry Farm.

As APA reports, samples were taken on February 22. Quarantine and sanitary measures are being implemented at the farm and surrounding areas.

Newcastle was found in the samples taken from birds in Gilezi Poultry Firm on February 9. Anti-epidemic and anti-epizootic actions are implemented in order to prevent Bird Flu in the country.

Disinfection matters, sprayers and special dresses were sent to the regional vetdepartments. Wild and domestic birds are monitored. Analyses show that wild birds didn't settled in the new territories.

The Commission urges the people once more to isolate domestic birds from wild birds and keep them in closed zones.

It was instructed to regional commissions to burn cattle, poultry wastes and bodies and to observe quarantine, sanitary and disinfection directions.
