Gender equality law recommended to MM

As APA reports, Parliament State Construction legislation department Deputy Chief Kamran Shafiyev gave information about the draft law that the document consisted of 2 chapters, 19 articles.

The draft law was sent to the Council of Europe for judgment. Commission Chairman Rabiyyat Aslanova said that the aim of the law was to ensure gender equality in all field of the public life and to eliminate discrimination for gender.

MP Azay Guliyev said that NGOs were concerned in adoption of the law and would give proposals on the law.

After discussion the draft law was recommended to the Milli Majlis.
