Military service period in NAVY will be decreased

Decrease of Military service period in the Maritime Forces will be discussed in near future.

Milli Majlis standing commission for defense and security Chief Ziyafat Asgarov told APA that his proposal has already been included in the agenda of the commission.

Mr. Asgarov said that service period in Maritime Forces is 24 months now. It is planed in the bill draft to make the service period in Maritime Forces 18 months as it is in land forces and other military elements.
