Pardon decree might be issued by 28 May

Member of the working group (composed of government representatives and human rights defenders) for political prisoners Murad Saddedinov told: "The delay of the discussion of the project "Gold Amnesty" submitted to Milli Majlis standing commission for statehood and legal policy is because of tense working schedule of the parliament members."

The Pardon Commission, whish was to meet on 17-18 April, did not meet. The Commission member Vagif Samadoghlu told that though a pardon decree is expected to be issued by the Day of Republic, the date of discussions for that has not been specified, APA reports.
