Damage to Tezekend village will be calculated and compensations will be paid

Because of flood as a result of rise in the level of the River Araz, residents of Nakhchivan AR Sharur region, Tezekend have been evacuated.

Nakhchivan AR Emergency Minister told APA that residents were provided with all needed.

Abdullayev stated that water now flows toward the River Araz because the river level has declined and no serious problem remains unsolved. Mr. Abdullayev has stated that the committee will account the damage after the water gets dry and relevant compensations will be paid.

Nakhchivan Autonomous republic representative Rashad Gulamov has informed, Nakhchivan Supreme Majlis Chairman Vasif Talibov has stated that he had visited the scene and gave relevant orders.

Houses have been flooded. The residents have been moved to safe places, they were placed in special tents. Ministry for Emergencies and Autonomous Republic leadership has provided the residents with warm clothes.
