Baku hosts NATO environment conference

According to AssA-Irada, the event was organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and NATO's environmental protection agency.

Minister Huseyn Baghirov said the state is attaching great importance to the preservation and development of rare species of flora and fauna as well as wildlife preserves.

The discussions are also centering around the issue of destruction of environmental and natural resources in the Armenia-occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
