President receives famous Russian ophthalmologists

As AzerTAg reports, the specialists had arrived in Baku to participate in the events to mark 60th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The Academicians said they were feeling great pleasure and pride to meet with President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva. They recalled the period of their working together with late Academician Zarifa Aliyeva especially stressing her role development of ophthalmology.

President Ilham Aliyev outlined the work being done by the government for development of medical science, including ophthalmology, in Azerbaijan.
