Azerbaijani young people in Georgia will leave for Northern Cyprus on September 8 to study at the Near East University (NEU), Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Work with Diaspora said. Prorector of the NEU Fakhraddin Mammadov said the students will get a free education because of the economic situation in Georgia.
About ˆ 100 thousands will be spent for students per year. In accordance with agreement signed between Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the NEU, the University provides 20 places in a number of specialties for Azerbaijani young people residing in Georgia.
