"Your Corner" is exactly what you think it is - your stories, pictures, art, and pretty much everything else you can share with the rest.
As part of "Your Corner" project, we would like to share the below
pictures of Charyn Canyon with our readers. The photos were taken by our reader Veronika Braterskaya in 2009.
Charyn Canyon is an 80 km canyon in Kazakhstan on the Charyn River, 200 km east of Almaty, close to the Chinese border. It is part of the Charyn National Park, which is established February 23, 2004 and located within the territory of the Uyghur and Kegen Districts of the Almaty Province.
According to our reader, "by tradition people visit Charyn in summer or in spring.
And not many actually know, how beautiful Charyn is during winter. It looks like a fairytale: snowly desert, rocks and peaces of broken ice in the water".

your own with us, and the rest of the readers. Whether it’s an
interesting episode of your everyday life, some sort of art, glamorous

even a poem – share with the rest & let yourself be known.
