Wrestlers to vie for WC and European championship named - PHOTOS

The capital of Dagestan Republic will host the World Cup in freestyle wrestling launching on March 19. Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation reported that the staff to vie for the cup was named at a meeting chaired by I vice-president of the federation Namig Aliyev. Thus the staff includes Namig Sovdumzadeh (55 kg), Zalimkhan Huseynov (60 kg), Emin Azizov, Khagan Suleymanov (both 66 kg), Alexander Qostiyev (74 kg), Novruz Tamrazov (84 kg), Aslanbek Alborov, Jamaleddin Mahammadov (96 kg) and Ali Isayev (120 kg).

The meeting also disclosed the names of freestyle wrestlers to attend European Championship which will run from March 29 up to April 3 in Dortmund city. The staff includes Mahmud Mahammadov (55 kg), Togrul Asgarov (60 kg), Jabrail Hasanov (66 kg), Agil Guliyev (74 kg), Sharifov Sharif (84 kg), Khetag Gazyumov (96 kg) and Ali Isayev (120 kg).

In both tournaments the staff will be headed by chief trainer Saypulla Absaidov, main trainer Firdovsi Umudov and trainer Aslan Agayev.
