Azeri boxer wins bronze at Makhachkala tournament

Azerbaijani boxer Mahammad Abdulhamidov weighing in at 52 kg has grabbed bronze medal in an international tournament commemorating Mahammad-Salam Umakhanov in Makhachkala, Russia. Abdulhamidov lost to Russian Yevgeni Yermakhov.

Other Azeri boxers Soltan Migitinov weighing in at 75 kg and Abdulgadir Abdullayev at 91 kg progressed to the final of the championship after beating Khaybula Musalov and Russian Beterbiyev respectively. Mahammadrasul Majidov clinched bronze medal in the over 91kg class.
