Alim Gasimov to perform in France

Azerbaijan’s popular mugham singer Alim Gasimov with his daughter Fargana will give a concert in France. The concert will be held at the Grand Saint Jean Theatre of Aix-en-Provence of France with the support of “Aghakhan” fund.

Kamancha player Rauf Islamov and tar player Zakir Valiyev will accompany Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana Gasimova.

The concert will last 90 minutes. Besides Azerbaijani mugham, instrumental music, gazelles of Sufi poet Fuzuli will be performed at the concert. They will show new specific elements and especially their vocal duets will give pleasure to the audiences.
